Father’s Day is less than a week away! We just celebrated Lyla’s second birthday, so my focus has been primarily on her party weekend and I may have dropped the ball on good ole’ dad. If you’re like me and have waited until you’re down to the wire, then let me offer you some inspiration.
- Fun Socks. Nothing personalizes an otherwise vanilla outfit better than some unique socks. Tim has quite a collection, but is never disappointed with more. The more outrageous, the better.
- Nice Sunglasses. Sunglasses are a crowd-pleaser and you usually need several pairs: one for your car, one for your spouse’s car, and one extra pair because you’re always missing one of the first two pairs. You can’t go wrong with a timeless pair of Ray Bans.
- Wireless Speaker. Whether a day at the pool, beach, or golf course, a good wifi wireless speaker will definitely earn the money back in use.
- Whiskey Decanter Set. Pair this set with his favorite brand of bourbon for a timeless home decor staple and a functional (drinkable) gift option. Bonus points if you drink bourbon as well!
- “Make Par Not War” Shirt. If my husband’s not at work or on the golf course, he’s typically in a t-shirt and gym shorts, the majority of which are related to his favorite NFL and college teams. I like the idea of switching it up with a design that’s still sports-related, but with a twist.
- Drone. Even for a guy who’s not that interested in gadgets, there’s a certain fun factor in taking a drone out for a spin.
- Smart Watch. Tim received an Apple Watch a few years ago as a birthday gift and he wears it almost every day.
- Nike Running Shoes. Most guys that I know appreciate some new foot wear. The light grey color is perfect for summer.
- Photo Frame. Sentimental gifts are always acceptable, especially if your man runs on the emotional side. I love this frame so much!
