Mother’s Day is less than a week away. If you’re anything like me, you are probably not 100% ready. Luckily, Amazon is a procrastinator’s best friend. Every gorgeous item below can arrive in plenty of time to celebrate the special ladies in your life this Sunday.
Here are my picks for this year’s Mother’s Day gift guide:
- Cute Coffee Mug. I start every morning with a bit of meditation, journaling, and then on the patio with a steaming cup of coffee. I’m always on the hunt for mugs to add to my collection. It’s something simple that makes me happy at the beginning of a new day.
- Chocolove Chocolate. For all my fellow chocolate-lovers out there, you have to try this brand! I ordered some of their Easter candy for the girls and am obsessed. So good and without the frankenfood ingredients you find in most mainstream brands.
- Kendra Scott Necklace. Jewelry can be tricky as we all have our own specific taste. However, this necklace is a best-seller on Amazon. So, feel free to purchase with confidence as it’s an obvious crowd pleaser.
- Kora Organics Skincare. I have been using doTERRA’s Verage collection for many years but heard about Miranda Kerr’s line while listening to a Rachel Hollis podcast. Her ingredients are super clean, and I thought I’d switch things up a bit. This plant-based retinol is one of the many items I have been using. If your wife or mom appreciates natural beauty, this is a great brand to surprise her with.
- Burberry Sunglasses. My sweet mom gifted me a pair of these last Christmas and I’m slightly obsessed. I don’t buy designer often, so it’s highly coveted when I do. I love the subtle print that’s telling without being gaudy.
- Barefoot Dreams Robe. I put my slippers and robe on as soon as my feet hit the floor every morning. I haven’t invested in a fancy brand yet but would love to be surprised some day….hint hint.
- Lily Pulitzer Insulated Tote. A cute and functional beach bag is always in demand for us mamas. Each child requires approximately 37 items to be pool or beach ready. Stuffing it into a pretty tote (especially with a zipper) makes the haul a bit more enjoyable.
- Organic Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rose. Who doesn’t love a bit of pink bubbly? It’s festive and the ideal accompaniment to your brunch plans this Mother’s Day. This brand is organic, has low sugar, and contains no alcohol. Making it the perfect gift for any mama-to-be!
- Aura Digital Photo Frame. This is another on my personal wish list. I have at least 5 million photos of each of my girls and would love to see them all…..all day long…..always. I can’t think of a better way to see my beautiful family sans the clutter that comes with trying to frame each precious one individually. A digital frame is a great option for your mother-in-law as well.
- Ugg Slippers. I will probably have Ugg slippers on every female gift guide for the rest of time. I have tried other brands and always return to my favorite. These are my current ones and I love the feminine fussiness of the fur.
If you’re seeing this a few days too late, don’t panic! I can still help you with some last-minute ideas.
- Spa Appointment or Gift Card. Every mom everywhere likes to be pampered….they may just not know it yet. It’s the gift of ultimate self-care.
- A day to herself. Yes, we love you, and the children, and my mom, and your mom, and all the grandmothers. But, here’s a secret…… we love being left alone for a few hours even more. Shhh. Give her the gift of doing whatever the hell she wants for a day. Throw in an overnight if you really want those brownie points…..and you know you want them.
- Weekend Getaway. This idea is perfect if she doesn’t love “stuff”. Plan a quick escape for the two of you to her favorite city or destination. Make it as close to Mother’s Day as possible, so it still feels relevant.
- Clean the House and Cook Dinner. Your lady more of an “acts of service” love language kinda gal? Then hop to it and dazzle her with your attempt at domestic tasks.
Here’s the recap: it’s not about dollars spent, but about thought and effort put in. Most of us just want to feel important and appreciated. Consider what makes her smile, spoils her, and how she receives love. A card and flowers are always nice, but adding just that little something extra can make all the difference.
