Spring has officially sprung here in Middle Tennessee which makes weekends so much more fun. Being able to enjoy the sunshine without wanting to crawl inside fourteen layers of clothing is beyond refreshing. We’re lucky enough to have a small swingset in our backyard which provides hours of self-induced entertainment for Lyla and roughly 15 minutes per session for Rose. It’s enough for this mama for now and I’ll take it happily.

Favorite Watchable: So, I was just young enough to miss out on the Oprah craze. So I am finding my love for her now watching her interviews on Discovery+. Her talent meshed with some of my favorite TV personalities turned moguls makes this my recommendation of the week.

Favorite Recipe: The promise of an upcoming swimsuit try-on sesh may have you ready to embrace some lighter meals. While salad isn’t the end all be all, they do make convenient lunch options and are super yummy and satisfying when done right. However, a bad store-bought dressing can break your good intentions with a plethora of no-no ingredients. Here are my go-to homemade dressings.

Favorite Wardrobe Addition: I held out on ordering cute masks, but needed some for our trip last week. Love the pattern and they’re only $5!

Favorite Oil Blend: If you don’t have this in your life, get it. It’s my go-to for feelings of anxiousness and also smells amazing. It is literally the only oil I carry in my purse at all times (other than hand sani).

Favorite Home Good: Every kitchen seriously needs one of these. It saved me this week when making eggplant parm and I realized I was out of tomato sauce…..but had canned diced tomatoes. Voila!

Favorite Local Find. Cheekwood is a botanical wonderland here in Nashville. The tulips were recently in bloom and are such a gorgeous sign of the arrival of spring. The header image was captured there by local budding photographer, 15 year old Lauren Reeves.

Have a wonderful weekend!!
